About Me

I am a senior Jungian Analyst and have over twenty years’ experience as a psychotherapist in private practice. For the past thirteen years, I have also worked as a psychotherapist in  the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLAM). Both of these experiences have brought me into contact with people of very different backgrounds and a very broad range of issues.

I trained initially as a Drama and Movement Therapist and then completed my training in Jungian Analysis with the Guild of Analytical Psychology (GAP). I am now a member of the British Jungian Analytic Association (BJAA), which is part of the British Psychotherapy Foundation (BPF). I am accredited member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and am bound by the Code of Ethics of the BPC and BJAA. I am also a member of the International Association of Analytical Psychologists (IAAP). I have also taught extensively on the GAP training and I have a diploma in supervision from the Society of Analytical Psychology.

I have a particular interest in the body-mind connection and in what might be being expressed through the body. As well as completing a number of intensive trainings with the Marion Woodman Foundation, I have completed Level 1 and Level 2 training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy as well as the  Advanced Training in Complex Trauma and  Dissociation both with the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute. Sensorimotor Psychotherapy is a body-orientated therapy which combines traditional talking therapy with simple, safe body work.
